Tomatoes for days.
A poem for the equinox, the in-between season, the knowing that we are all dwellers on the threshold.
After not enough hikes this summer due to stupid plantar fasciitis, we had a delightful forest bath, complete with swinging bridge.
Scenes from a delightfully magical evening with @orbitinghumancircus. Singing saws, a dancing polar bear, hypnotism, and a glorious firefly game as an encore.
Feeling the shift from summer to autumn in subtle and profound ways. There’s always a pang at the end of summer. It’s the harvest, but soon the winter. And the light of October will soon be here as well, so crisp, and clear, and fleetingly golden.
Western NY in its quiet, simple, spacious summer splendor.
